Personal Group has today been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, recognising the UK employee benefits and insurance provider for creating a workplace where people feel supported, valued and able to perform at their best.
The national awards celebrate organisations leading the way in employee experience, engagement and workplace culture across the UK.
The recognition follows exceptionally strong colleague feedback across the business, with Personal Group achieving 85% overall engagement and 86% job satisfaction. The results highlighted particular strengths in wellbeing, recognition and leadership, with 85% of employees saying the organisation cares about their wellbeing and 88% saying they are trusted by management and colleagues to make decisions.
The survey also reflected a strong sense of pride and belonging across the business. Almost nine in ten employees said they feel proud to work for Personal Group, while 92% said they have a good relationship with their manager and feel safe in their working environment.
Personal Group also scored highly for reward, recognition and support, with more than eight in ten employees saying they feel recognised when they do something well, fairly paid and equipped with the tools and training needed to succeed in their role. Just 7% of employees were identified as being at wellbeing risk and only 8% as a potential flight risk.
"What makes this recognition so special is that it reflects how our people genuinely feel about working here. The fact that so many colleagues say they feel proud to work for Personal Group, trusted to make decisions and supported by their managers tells us we’re building the kind of culture we want - one where people can do great work and feel valued while doing it. We spend a lot of time talking to employers about the importance of looking after their people, so it’s important that we hold ourselves to the same standard. This award shows the difference great benefits, strong leadership and a culture built around people can have, both for employees and for the wider success of the business."
The achievement reflects continued investment in employee experience across wellbeing, DEI, career development, recognition and employee voice initiatives led by Personal Group's People team.
"This is a proud moment for the business and for everyone who has helped shape the culture we have today. Creating a great workplace is something you keep working at. We continue to listen to our people, evolve our approach and invest in what matters most to them. Our aim is simple: to make sure Personal Group remains a place where talented people can thrive, develop and feel connected to a shared purpose."
As a leading provider of employee benefits and insurance, employee engagement and technology, Personal Group is committed to leading by example, continuing to see the impact of this approach both within it's own workforce and across the thousands of organisations it supports across the UK.
