Personal Group, a technology-enabled employee services provider, has announced a further upgrade to the benefits and rewards package it offers to its 250 UK-based employees.
The newest perks to be added to Personal Group’s impressive benefits package includes a “birtholiday”, which provides employees with a day off to celebrate their birthday in addition to their regular leave allowance, as well as an enhanced holiday purchase scheme through which employees can increase their allowance by an additional 10 days per year by purchasing additional holiday.
Further enhancements offered to employees include career breaks of up to six months and a change to the company’s long service awards, which now provides two weeks additional holiday or two weeks additional pay during milestone years.
The latest raft of benefits follows the updates made last year, which saw Personal Group make increases to basic annual leave allowance, extensions to bereavement and annual leave, and the introduction of private medical insurance for all staff.
These improvements enhanced the pre-existing core benefits offered by Personal Group, such as worldwide travel insurance for staff and their families, salary sacrifice for cars and bikes, home technology, parking and holiday purchase. Everyday retail discounts, gym membership, access to a free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme and a non-contributory pension scheme are also available to all Personal Group employees.
Personal Group’s HR Director Rebekah Tapping commented: “These improvements are yet more proof of our commitment to positively impact our employees’ lives, both outside of work and during working hours. We are constantly looking at how we can build upon our deep understanding of the key issues and dynamics in the lives of our staff so that we can offer a benefits and rewards package that impacts directly on their happiness and wellbeing, and we see these recent improvements as another step in this journey.”
